Rage Quit Lander (Cargo Lander) is on Greenlight!

Rage Quit Lander, formerly known as Cargo Lander is a lunar lander inspired game, with asteroid themed levels.

The game has two modes, and two more modes for each. Classic Lander, Cargo Lander, and Classic/Cargo Impossible, and Classic/Cargo Timed mode. In Classic Lander mode the goal is to land on all landing pads in the level to complete it, where the only major skill the player has to rely on is flight, navigation, and landing, while in Cargo Lander mode gameplay is more action oriented from start, the goal is to transport cargo from pad A to pad B, and to do that the player must survive, and solve mini-puzzles to reach the other end. In an Impossible mode you only have one life to finish all 30 levels of Classic or Cargo mode, and in Timed mode each level has a time limit. And beware, space is filled with unknown dangers, and obstacles just waiting for an inexperienced pilot to come their way.

The name has been changed due to a major game update, and preparing for Steam Greenlight. The name in the trailer will be changed too, soon.

Village Builder Kit Update v1.1

Fixed some mesh bug in House 1 (was missing some wood planks), and changed grass textures, the previous ones were bugged and just showed flat color instead of the texture. Also the demo scene looks much nicer now. The screenshots at the asset page are still the old ones with the plain color ground. I have to update them.

[Top-Down] 100 Fantasy Medieval Buildings Pack WIP

Started making a hand painted medieval fantasy house pack a few days ago. Its still very WIP. I barely had free time since I started so I didn't get very far, even tho I planned to finish it in a week. I'm focusing on textures atm. Here's a few Unity screenshots.

Pack will contain 100 fantasy medieval buildings.

Starting off with my favorite. :)



No idea what this building could be. Looks sort of like an ex tower turned into a mill or something.


My second favorite.


Unfinished fort. I need to make some stone floors and circular rooftops before i can finish it.


Another WIP thingy. Don't know where I'm going with it but I like how it looks like shackles.

Shop of some sorts?


That house you get when you have a roommate in medieval times.


These are too small to be real houses but somehow I like the compact look. xD


And all of them together. I'll improve them a bit more, and then 90 to go.


I was busy the last couple weeks but the next week I'll hardly have any time to work on this, but hopefully tomorrow I make an archery and blacksmith, or some other functional building.

Any suggestions, critiques, something you really dislike, or like?

Beds Package (10+ Beds) Asset

Hi guys! I present to you a simple bed package of 10+ beds, all with different materials you can mix and match.

The package contains:

- Over 10 different beds
- Over 20 premade materials for beds (plus smaller versions for pillows)
- Over 15 different textures. (some custom made, others from free sources)
- And prefabs for each bed ready to just throw into your scene.
- Models are available both in fbx and blend file formats.

Model tris range from 100 to 500, with an exception of the round bed being 740 tris.

I'll try and get the web player demonstration up soon.

Roof Tiles and Chimneys!

Painted some badass chimneys and roof tiles. And how it all looks like when we throw it onto the house in Unity, add a few wood planks, and a balcony. Next up, making that into one, or a few, meshes, instead of dozens. How? With magic ofc.

Modular House - How It Looks Like In Unity

Unity Teleportation System - When Things Go Right


Aaaaand got it to work. Sorry for not embedding the video, its bloggers fault for asking for the vid name instead of link, and then finding all the wrong things.

Feature list:
- Single or multiple destination pads
- Instant Teleportation (step on it, teleports you instantly)
- Random Teleportation (teleports you to a random pad)
- Button Teleporation (teleports you when you press a button you set)
- Delayed Teleporation (delays by the time you set)
- Set to use tag or not (either teleport any object, or just an object with a specific tag, like just the player)
- modifiable teleport height (if you need to tweak teleport height)


Unity Teleportation System - When Things Go Wrong



Just working on a small teleport pad script for the asset store.
It'll be available for free. But as you can see, things aren't going right. xD

Unity Mecanim - 3rd Person Character Controller System Prototype


Working on a new 3rd person character controller GTA 3 and up style, with free cam and camera relative controls while not aiming, and with strafing while aiming.

Its been a frustrating couple days but I got it to work the way I want it.
It does need a lot of polishing, what with all the sliding and floating, and lacking jump animations, and small raycast bug, but the basics are done.

Test character is Unity-chan, made by Unity peeps from Japan.
I apologize for breaking her back a good number of times before the torso finally oriented where I want it to.

Next up:
- jumping animation (priority)
- network test (priority)
- hand to hand combat system, when you're not aiming, or holding a gun (priority)
- rifle holding
- running while aiming, not just walking
- maybe shooting without aiming

Enemy Swarm!

Hi ya'll! :D
So we made a few tweaks to the AI, a couple bug fixes, added waves to levels, and we have another enemy type!
Enemy Swarm is actually a group of 9 small enemy ships each having health of 10. Individually they're easy to tackle but together they're challenging and might just leave you severely damaged if you're not careful.

Here's a quick vid of them in action. :)

We Started a Blog! Yaaaay! :D

And we'll make our first post the games we're working on right now.

Vector Drive and Tiny Ships. 

Both games are aimed for PC, Android, and Web for the time being.

Right now they're in development and you can track them either here or play the in-development versions of the game on Wooglie.com. I won't backtrack all the updates, instead I'll continue from where we left off and update the blog along with our other portals. 



And here's gameplay videos of  Tiny Ships I made today.

And a gameplay video. It's very unbalanced right now, I stopped playing when I became too overpowered and also ran out of hdd space. xD


That is all for now. I'll update a bit later if I have more progress. Working on buying new weapons from the upgrade menu. :)
